Hey! I'm LINY!

I'm an independent music producer from Mexico who somehow decided that making electronic music at unreasonable hours was a good idea.

I started making music because I wanted to create the kind of sounds that get stuck in your head at 2 AM.

Over time, that turned into LINY! — my little place for music, ideas, memories and whatever else I feel like putting on the internet.

This website is basically the digital version of opening my computer and finding 47 random FL Studio projects.

My main thing is Handz Up, but I don't like staying in just one box.

You'll probably find elements of:

★ Other electronic music experiments

I like energetic melodies, nostalgic sounds, hard kicks and that feeling of listening to something that could have existed on the internet years ago.

A lot of my music is connected to nostalgia.

Old internet aesthetics, late nights, memories, anime, electronic music and random ideas all end up becoming part of the process somehow.

Sometimes I start with an actual idea.

Sometimes I just open FL Studio and see what happens.

The second method has produced some surprisingly decent results.

My main DAW is FL Studio 12.

Most of the time you'll find me experimenting with synths, kicks, melodies, weird sounds and trying to make the mix sound good without destroying everything in the process.

There have been many late-night sessions.

There have also been many moments of:

"I'll fix the mix tomorrow."

I did not fix the mix tomorrow.

I wanted somewhere that actually feels like my own little corner of the internet.

Not just another artist profile. Not just a streaming page.

A place where I can keep releases, news, old projects, artwork, random thoughts and pieces of the journey.
